The MC Dot is a round coffee table by Studio Dedalos that balances two warm, natural materials with quiet confidence. Top grain leather wraps the entire piece — top and cylindrical base — while a walnut veneer medallion at the centre of the tabletop introduces depth and contrast. Made in Brazil, it is a piece that feels both grounded and refined, suited to living spaces where detail matters.
Design
Designed by Studio Dedalos, the MC Dot draws its character from the interplay between supple top grain leather and richly grained walnut veneer. The tabletop is composed of four leather panels that meet at the centre, where a circular walnut inlay anchors the composition — the "dot" that gives the piece its name. Hand-stitched seams run across the cylindrical base, adding a tailored quality reminiscent of fine leather goods.
The solid cylindrical pedestal keeps the profile low and deliberate, making the MC Dot well suited to upholstered seating arrangements where the table reads as part of the room's overall texture rather than a separate object.
